Duke Energy Corporation announced a regular quarterly dividend of $0.855, a 4 percent increase from the prior rate of $0.825 per share. The dividend will be paid at the new higher rate on September 16, 2016, to shareholders of record at close of business on August 12, 2016. Duke Energy Corp. is a member of the Top 100 dividend  candidates.
